Morro Bay
Columbia/Yosemite NP

Morro Bay trip postponed until 2018

May 22 to 26, 2017

None of the RV parks in the Morro Bay area had enough space for all of the Rovers who wished to go.

Columbia was once the 2nd largest city in California and was founded as a boomtown in 1850 when gold was found in the vicinity.  The town's central district forms the Columbia State Historic Park, which preserves the 19th century mining town.  Yosemite Valley is about 65 miles away and should make for an interesting day trip with the waterfalls in high form.

Hat Creek/Lassen NP

This trip has been canceled

July 16 to 20, 2017

The towns of Clio and Graeagle are located along the middle fork of the Feather River which was one of the first nationally designated wild and scenic rivers.  Enjoy hiking the Lakes District, history at the  Plumas Eureka State Park, the Western Pacific Railroad Museum or 9 or 18 holes of golf at one of the 5 golf courses.
Maybe next year?
